Now we’re looking for a Database Administrator who will help us ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of the databases behind these mission-critical systems.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with relational database management systems, particularly Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL, including both managed cloud environments (e.g., Amazon RDS) and self-hosted/on-premise deployments.
• Experience in database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting
• Experience with high availability and replication technologies (e.g., AlwaysOn Availability Groups for SQL Server and PostgreSQL replication mechanisms)
• Experience in database programming and design (T-SQL / SQL functions / stored procedures)
• Ability to analyze and optimize existing SQL code and database structures
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good command of written and spoken English

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the Lead DBA and infrastructure/engineering teams to ensure that database platforms and the underlying hardware and system resources deliver high availability and optimal performance.
• Responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL database environments
• Design, implement, and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions (Backup / Restore / Replication / Failover technologies such as AlwaysOn or PostgreSQL replication)
• Proactively monitor database systems to ensure secure, stable services with minimal downtime
• Troubleshoot database issues and coordinate escalation to vendors or third-party support when required
• Plan and execute database maintenance, upgrades, and continuous performance improvements
• Maintain and monitor database systems to deliver high availability and 99.99% uptime
