Company Overview & Role Summary We are looking for a visionary Sales Director to lead our sales organization and drive our strategic growth in the region. While our Regional Sales Executives drive field expansion, you will be the architect of our revenue strategy, mentoring a high-performing team and defining how we penetrate the market.
This role is not just about managing numbers; it is about building a scalable sales culture, overseeing market expansion, and acting as a high-level strategic partner to the executive board. Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve organizational goals and expand market share in the hospitality/technology sector.
- Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams with high accuracy and drive the team to meet these targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and adjust the "Go-to-Market" strategy accordingly.
Team Management & Development
- Lead, mentor, and expand the sales team (including Regional Sales Executives), fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
- Define KPIs, commission structures, and career pathways to ensure team motivation and retention.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide hands-on coaching to improve the team’s negotiation and closing skills.
Operations & Collaboration
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic high-level deals.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure the feedback loop from the field shapes our product roadmap.
- Oversee the effective use of CRM and sales tools to ensure data integrity and pipeline visibility.
Qualifications
Experience (Sales & Leadership)
- Sales Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of successful sales experience, with a strong background in B2B SaaS, Technology, or Hospitality solutions.
- Management Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of dedicated experience in leading and managing sales teams. Proven track record of hiring, training, and scaling high-performing teams is a must.
- Sector Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in the Hospitality Tech (HORECA) industry or selling software solutions to hotels/restaurants is a significant plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Language Skills: Native or near-native proficiency in English is mandatory. You will be communicating global strategies and mastering complex product details.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to transition seamlessly between high-level strategic planning and hands-on operational execution.
- Tech Savvy: Advanced competence in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales analytics.
- Communication: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Willingness to travel (locally and internationally) as business needs dictate.
- Valid driver’s license.
